1100’s renovation and expansion of the Riverside Health Center, a public facility managed by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, will support the Center’s mission to promote the health of the Upper West Side community.

The design team collaborated with several city agencies on the development of architectural solutions that encourage physical activity, the results of which became part of the city’s Active Design Guidelines and led to the creation of a new LEED Innovation Credit.

The building is on track to receive LEED Silver certification and will reduce energy costs by at least 20%. This project is part of the NYC Department of Design and Construction Design Excellence Program and a DQI project for the City.
