DQI Facilitators Course

The DQI Facilitators course is designed for professionals who wish to become qualified as a DQI Facilitator. The course must be completed successfully in order to be placed on the DQI Facilitator’s register.

Applying for the course

The application process consists of two stages:

  1. Submit an application form 
  2. Telephone interview

The Course

DQI Facilitator training course consists of two stages: 

  1. A full day event providing a thorough grounding in how, why and when to use the DQI process for a building project.
  2. A second full day event reinforcing the theory of DQI and developing the skills needed to be an effective facilitator.

Upon completion of the training courses, applicants are required to gain sufficient experience with DQI before full registration.  Full details can be found in the "Becoming a DQI facilitator" pack.

 
 

Fees

The fees for becoming a DQI facilitator in 2010 will be  £1,400 plus VAT. This covers the application assessment fee (£250), the two training events (£975), and one year’s registration (£175). 

The fee is payable in two instalments:

  • The first instalment of £250 is submitted with the application and is non refundable
  • The second instalment of £1150 is payable upon passing the assessment stage

Dates

Applications to become a DQI facilitator are managed in rounds, the second round of 2010 is:

  • Deadline for applications; 13 September 2010
  • Telephone Interviews; week of 20 September 2010 
  • First training day; 20 October 2010
  • Second training day; 21 October 2010
