Parents

It is very important for parents to get involved in the DQI process. It provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the decision-making that steers the design of a school building. Parents use school buildings in ways that other people don’t and this is why they need to be represented at the workshops.

Parents’ responsibilities in the DQI Process:

  • Participate in the workshops
  • Highlight issues in the design that particularly affect parents 
  • Communicate with other parents and inform them of the progress of DQI
