Schools Governors originate from different sources (parents, school staff, LEA representatives), and come together to form a bridge between the school and the community. Governors help decide on budgets, report to parents and provide support to the head teacher, therefore their input greatly benefits the DQI process.
School Governors’ responsibilities in the DQI Process:
- Attend and participate in all the workshops
- Support the head teacher
- Represent the school and community in the workshops
- Keep the school community informed of developments to the building project
