DQI Leader

The DQI Leader believes in and champions the DQI process. Their primary responsibility is to form and motivate an Assessment group to take part in the workshops and the online questionnaires. The DQI Leader should have authority within the project planning group and be intimately knowledgeable about the project. He/she should be well placed to interact with the other stakeholders and ensure that the project gains maximum benefit from the DQI process. In a best practise scenario a Local Authority Officer will take this role.

DQI Leader’s responsibilities in the DQI process:

  • Ensures the DQI process is initiated at the earliest possible stage of the project 
  • Appoints and works with a DQI Administrator
  • Appoints and works with a DQI Facilitator
  • Is the main point of contact for the DQI Facilitator
  • Pays for the DQI online tools and Facilitator services
  • Attends and participates in all workshops
