Under the instruction of Project Engineers contractors are responsible for physically putting up the building. There can be a number of different contractors responsible for the different areas/stages of the building.
Contractors responsibilities in the DQI process:
- If they have been appointed they should attend the workshops
- Understand the priorities of the Assessment group
- Highlight design issues from a practical point of view and their impact upon the construction and running of the building
