Members of the local community are affected by new buildings however their power to influence decisions is relatively low. The DQI process is therefore an important opportunity for members of the local community to engage in a building project.
Local community members responsibilities in the DQI Process:
- Participate in the workshops
- Highlight any issues that may affect the local community
- Report back to the local community the discussions from the workshops
