The Design Quality Indicator (DQI) is a pioneering process for evaluating design quality of buildings, it can be used by everyone involved the development process to contribute to improving the quality of our built environment.

DQI is a generic toolkit which can be used with all types of building. There is also a version specifically aimed at school buildings, the DQI for Schools.
